Bayou Jamb History
Bayou Jamb started in 2006 when St. Francis Medical Center and the Orthopaedic Clinic came together and offered to sponsor a fun-filled day of football jamboree games. Area coaches and schools agreed to participate and the rest is history...
2006
- Began with six Northeast Louisiana high school teams (Oak Grove, Jonesboro-Hodge, Ouachita, Neville, Ruston, West Monroe)
- Over 18,000 in attendance
- 40 booths and events in the Grove
2007
- Expanded to eight North Louisiana high school teams (Calvary Baptist, Rayville, Oak Grove, Jonesboro-Hodge, Ouachita, Neville, Ruston, West Monroe)
- Over 25,000 in attendance
- Over 200 kids participated in NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition
- Over 50 booths and events in the Grove
2008
- Eight North Louisiana high school teams participating (Calvary Baptist, Rayville, Oak Grove, Jonesboro-Hodge, Ouachita, Neville, Ruston, West Monroe)
- Over 22,000 in attendance
- Approximately 150 kids participated in NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition
- Over 75 booths and events in the Grove
2009
- Six Northeast Louisiana high school teams participating (Bastrop, Jonesboro-Hodge, Neville, Oak Grove, Rayville, West Monroe)
- Over 24,000 in attendance
- Approximately 100 kids participated in NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition
- Over 75 booths and events in the Grove
2010
- Six Northeast Louisiana high school teams participating (Bastrop, Jonesboro-Hodge, Neville, Oak Grove, Rayville, West Monroe)
- Over 26,000 in attendance
- 147 kids participated in NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition
- Over 75 booths and events in the Grove

- Eight Northeast Louisiana high school teams participating (Bastrop, OCS, Neville, Oak Grove, Ouachita, Sterlington, West Monroe, West Ouachita)
- 29,000 in attendance
- 150 kids participated in NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition
- Approximately 100 booths and events in the Grove
