What is Bayou Jamb?

Bayou Jamb 2012 consists of four high school football jamboree games played at ULM Malone Stadium. Proceeds from the event are distributed between the participating schools.

If you are a high school football fanatic and can’t wait for the season to start, join us at this year’s Bayou Jamb!

Did You Know?

Bayou Jamb is made possible through the support of many area sponsors. The event is brought to you by St. Francis Medical Center, Capital One Bank, Louisiana Army National Guard, and the Orthopaedic Clinic. Over 300 volunteers from St. Francis Medical Center give their time to make this event successful for both the high schools involved as well as the many fans who attend.

 

Bayou Jamb 2011 Events:

Louisiana Army National Guard NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick: the fun begins at 11:00 a.m., with check-in beginning at 10 a.m.; Brown Stadium on the ULM Campus. Entry is free, open to boys and girls ages 6 -15 (as of December 31, 2011). Pre-registration is required. Please click here for additional information and registration form.

Jambin' in the Grove: the Grove opens at 12 Noon with lots of food, entertainment, vendors and fun activities for everyone!

Tailgating
: Tailgating spots are available for $150 per spot and must be purchased in advance. This fee includes space for two vehicles, along with four Bayou Jamb game tickets. Click here for a map of the Grove area. Spots available for tailgating include: Spots 416-524. Call Cindy at (318) 966-7055 for more information and to reserve your tailgating spot.

Jambin' in the Stadium: will begin with the gates opening at 1 p.m. The first game featuring the West Ouachita Chiefs vs. the Sterlington Panthers will begin at 2 p.m. Next up at 4 p.m. will be the Oak Grove Tigers against the OCS Eagles. The Bastrop Rames will face the Ouachita Lions at 6 p.m. The final game of the night will begin at 8 p.m. with the Neville Tigers  battling the West Monroe Rebels. Discounted tickets are available at each participating school for purchase prior to the game. Tickets will be sold on game day for $10 (children 5 and under admitted free).
